SPEKBOOM
Spekboom has an exceptional ability to take large quantities of carbon dioxide out of the air and convert it to oxygen. Its unique ability is that it can switch its photosynthetic mechanism from that of a rainforest plant in wet conditions to that of a desert cactus in semi-arid conditions, making it highly efficient for its environment.

Our knitters are now proud part-owners of Nomvula’s. They have formed a trust that owns 30% of the business. That percentage increases as their skills develop.
OUR WORKSHOP
As we strive for zero waste, all yarn ends that go unused fill our pillows. We use very little electricity and even keep our carbon footprint low by using locally-sourced materials

We stock and sell an exquisite and large variety of bamboo, cotton, mohair and wool yarns to knitters and we also have an affordable range of acrylics for charity knitters.
