Our knitters now have 91% ownership of Nomvula’s through a trust. They have developed business skills and take great pride in their independence. The goal of Nomvula’s was to create permanent employment. We have succeeded. 

Currently there are 4 full-time knitters who are partners and what started as a job creation project is now driving social and economic change.
