Our knitters, who are naturally creative and love colour, were previously unemployed and loved learning to knit. These women have grown and shaped Nomvula’s and currently own 30% of the company via a Trust, with our goal being to transfer full ownership and control to their hardworking hands, once business skills are learned.
Currently there are 6 full-time knitters who are partners and what started as a job creation project is now driving social and economic change.
